The competition is divided into four age categories: Early Learners (ages 3 to 6), Junior (ages 7 to 10), Intermediate (ages 11 to 14), and Senior (ages 15 to 18). Younger children or kids who cannot type can also join and practice using our built-in Voice Spelling Mode across all categories. Both private and public school students across Nigeria are eligible to register.
Yes! Registration for the Spelling Genius Competition is 100% FREE for both individual students and school delegations. Schools can register delegations of 5 or more students at no cost, receive dedicated preparation guides and teacher coaching support, and compete for the prestigious "Best School of the Year" trophy.
